Students who elect to complete a thesis may be exempted from one of these externships, with the consent of their academic advisor and they must complete ASLS 699, Thesis: Audiology and Speech-Language Sciences, for six semester hours and SRM 602, Statistical Methods I, for three semester hours, in addition to the requirements shown above.Students who complete this program are eligible for the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and for licensure from the Colorado Department of Education.
