Doctoral students must apply for admission to this minor. The application materials and admission criteria are the same as those required for the Ph.D. in Educational Technology: cover page, GRE, 3 letters of recommendation, statement of professional goals relevant to this minor. Completed applications packets should be submitted to the school director
prior to the completion of 6 hours of coursework within the minor. Applications will be considered on an open schedule.
The student must complete a minimum of 15 semester hours of coursework with a grade of “B” or better in each course for this Doctoral Minor. All coursework for the minor must carry an ET prefix. Course substitutions are allowed within this minor only if they have ET prefixes and are approved by both the student’s minor advisor and Educational Technology school director. Internships, practica and directed studies may
not be counted in the 15 hour minimum. Doctoral students completing the Educational Technology minor will include an Educational Technology faculty member on their doctoral research committee.
