This graduate level endorsement program in the teaching of English as a Second Language (ESL) emphasizes the study of the structures of English, second language acquisition, and methodology related to the teaching of English to speakers of other languages. This program leads to recommendation to Colorado’s Linguistically Diverse ESL K-12 endorsement. Applicants are encouraged to apply to the Master of Arts in Teaching: Linguistically Diverse Education Emphasis program at the same time.
