Note(s): To complete requirements for rehabilitation counseling, 15 semester hours must be taken from required electives. Substitutions to electives may be made only with faculty approval on the written petition of the student.
Required courses may be waived only by the school director on written recommendation of the student's advisor.
Successful completion of a written comprehensive exam is required to complete the Master of Arts program.
The master's program is fully accredited by the Council on Rehabilitation Education (CORE) and qualifies students for application for national certification as a Rehabilitation Counselor.
