Orientation

The New Student Orientation program is designed to assist first-time freshmen, transfer students and their family members through the transition into the University of Northern Colorado. First-time freshmen are expected to attend and participate in a two-day New Student Orientation session during the summer.

Transfer students are also encouraged to attend a one-day New Student Orientation. Orientation will provide essential information about the University, its academic policies and procedures, how to get involved on campus, and how to be a successful college student.

Freshmen will also receive academic advising and register for classes at New Student Orientation. Transfer students should make an appointment with their academic program to receive academic advising and assistance registering for classes.
